ReCon Engine and Parts System QSOL Improvements
The Cummins ReCon QSOL team is focused at improving both, the ReCon Engine Cross Referencing process and the ReCon Engine
and Parts Identification Process.
Today, we are proud to announce two new features to the ReCon - Engine and Parts link on the QSOL website,
Spec by Engine Option Description
Direct Link to ReCon Engine Information by ESN
Spec by Engine Option Description
Determining which ReCon engine best fits your application can be a challenge, but with the release of the new Spec by Engine
Option Description link the task should become easier. The Spec by Engine Option Description link will allow you to spec a
ReCon engine by simply matching your current engine major components and features with those of a ReCon engine by using identifying
drop downs.
On the QSOL home pageyou can enter a new engine serial number and be directed to the build options for that engine. Up until now this was only
available for new engines. This feature is now available for ReCon engines. Enter the ReCon ESN, click the right arrow, click
on the Parts tab and open Parts Catalog (Option Part Detail). The ReCon engine information will be displayed. The original
"ReCon ESN Inquiry" link will remain active to access serial numbers such as those used on ReCon short blocks.
