Reminder of INSITE Operating System Support Change
This communication is intended for all users of Cummins INSITE Software.
What:
- Windows NT, 98, and ME will no longer function with any version of INSITE released after v6.x.
- INSITE v7.0 will only be capable of supporting Windows 2000, Windows XP, and soon to be released Windows Vista.
When:
- INSITE v7.0 is scheduled for release by Q4 of 2007.
Why:
- We cannot ensure continued INSITE compatibility on any Operating System that Microsoft no longer supports.
- As of June, 2004 - Windows NT support was discontinued by Microsoft.
- As of July, 2006 - Windows 98 and ME support will be discontinued by Microsoft
